Deny entry or reverse a denial

Record a reviewed entry denial or an authorized reversal without confusing it with attendance, status or a refund.

Who this is for: Owners, Admins and Moderators may deny eligible entry; only Owners and Admins may reverse it.

Before you start

Owner/Admin/Moderator can deny eligible entry before attendance. Only Owner/Admin can reverse denied entry.

Denial does not suspend, ban or refund the person. Reversal does not check the person in or clear other blockers.

Open the attendee on the Open event roster and read the current state.
Use the denial action in More options & history when available, enter a reason and review it.
Save the denial and check the attendee’s updated state.
To reverse a denial, an Owner or Admin opens its reversal control, gives a review reason and saves.

The denial or reversal retains its actor, time and reason.

Attendance is already recorded

Already-recorded attendance cannot be overwritten through denial.

I also need a restriction or refund

Denial does not suspend, ban or refund the person.

Reversal did not check the person in

Reversal does not check the person in or clear other blockers.
